This a busy week! I have been making orders and commissions with deadlines for birthdays and anniversaries looming, whilst finishing off the last few new pieces for The Contemporary Craft Fair, in Devon (8th-10th June 2018). This is such a lovely event; a mix of food, music, demonstration and talks, all in a beautiful corner or Devon. If you are in the Bovey Tracey area do come in and say hello!
The face behind the work! This was first thing in the morning after a lovely peaceful walk with the dog.
The colours of summer, we walk through fields of buttercups every morning at the moment and they just make me smile!
One of my new contemporary rings hot of the bench this week ready for the Craft Festival 2018. This is a lovely marquise spessartine garnet, such a warm golden colour.
I've got a thing for orange and yellow at the moment!
Two more new contemporary rings, another yellow stone, this time a yellow beryl and a lovely dark blue aquamarine. Both beryl an aquamarine are from the same family of gemstone. Online soon.
Another ring just finished. This is a stunning emerald set into 18ct gold that really captured my imagination when I was selecting stones. Emerald is the birthstone for May, so perhaps fitting that I was working on this ring during the month of May!
I am also working on a new small range of wedding rings, simple clean, classic with a modern twist. This one will be coming along to The Craft Festival too.
I have everything crossed for a sunny and warm weekend ahead!
