What's not to love about all the glorious Autumn colours here in the UK at the moment? I simply can't help taking photographs every morning while walking the dog through the squelching Herefordshire fields and woods.
I'm certainly working all the hours I can at the moment to make all the lovely jewellery commissions and orders that have come in over the past few weeks, and thanks to Goldsmiths' Fair, the order book is full. I love making and refuse to rush that part of the job. Every piece I make, I want to be as perfect as my hands can possibly make. I would rather turn away a commission than take on a piece of work that I know would be rushed. Although, the dark nights are not great for making, by mid afternoon the sunlight has dropped and "seeing" becomes tricky even with the best lights and glasses! So ... that's the down side to Autumn! Although the studio does look lovely and moody...
With December fast approaching, I shall leave you with some festive colours...
and red berries...
I hope you can enjoy Autumn colours where ever you are!
